@unrealengine #ue5 has a Georeferencing feature which lets you locate your engine coords on Earth's surface. @simul #trueSKY supports this, but matching the two was tricky. I added a "World View" panel to Unreal Editor, which shows the UE origin and trueSKY's reference frame.

Returning to global weather generation in Simul #trueSKY: this is the pressure-driven wind flow to generate the cloud motion.

Meanwhile @simul, here's a preview of the #trueSKY 4.4 interface. We've natively integrated #imgui controls and Simul's 3D World View map into #ue5.

This is unfortunate. Lately I've been thinking a lot about "untrusted clients": that's the model for the World Wide Web: Not only do you not know what code users are running, you have no real expectation that you can. And the #metaverse, if it's to exist, has to support this.
