Dear Bola Ahmed Tinubu, duly central bank pays LG allocation through joint account in accordance with Section 162(6) of the 1999 Constitution. But osun APC and your AGF Fagbemi has no iota of respect to the rule of law in the country, Imagine Osun APC is trying to hijack LG funds
There're 36 states in Nigeria and up till this moment, Central Bank of Nigeria pays LG allocation through joint account in accordance with Section 162(6) of the 1999 Constitution but Osun APC Nigeria is trying to hijack funds to private accounts.
The idea of a TREASURER as a signatory to public account is unprecedented IMPUNITY in history . Central Bank of Nigeria should know better that civil servants are usually the accounting officers of public funds #StopStarvingOsunLGs #OsunLGFundsCrisis #JusticeForOsunPeople #DemocracyUnderSiege
The Law of the States House of Assembly, as mandated by Section 7 of 1999 constitution, clearly defines the structure, composition, finance, and functions of the Local Government Councils. Lateef O. Fagbemi, SAN should not be the one violating law in Nigeria. AFAM OSIGWE #OsunLGFundscrises
Osun state conducted a peaceful and legal LG election but till this day, the Central Bank of Nigeria would not release funds to the VALIDLY ELECTED chairmen for the smooth running of the councils. The AGF is encouraging impunity by romancing & encouraging the illegal chairmen.
Osun APC looted LG funds while in power and still want to continue the looting out of power just cos they have an AGF willing to patronise them. Osun state cant be the only state where LG funds are sent to private accounts. Central Bank of Nigeria must not allow this impunity to happen.
