the whole “sylus would do anything mc asked” (to his detriment) point is so stupid bc his character is all about AFFIRMING boundaries. every1 gets how he absolutely understand mc’s boundaries and preferences- but when it’s SYLUS’ boundaries? suddenly he’s got none

i wish people didn’t perceive sylus so weirdly they want him to be aggressive during sex and be into all these kinks when he’s not, saying he’ll do anything mc says but what about him? he has his own boundaries too and mc respects them. his theme is consent/ personal autonomy.

sylus's whole character and story is fundamentally about consent, personal agency, and HEALING. reducing him to fantasies that ignore his boundaries completely misses the point of his character tbh his softness isn’t a weakness and that's part of what makes his story so powerful
