0-5 and 5-0 in back-to-back home games. I can't imagine that happens too often! An excellent team performance to secure NLS survival 👏

And this isn't limited to the Premiership (plus Leeds) anymore. It's become more of an issue in the EFL since the new Sky deal.

Well done to Truro and John Askey 👏 Was very impressed with them at the Bev. That was on 8th Feb, and we would have gone 2 points behind them with a win. We end the season 38 points apart...

As a neutral, the best game I've seen this season. Played at great tempo throughout. Even with 10 men, that late collapse will hurt Dorking for a long time.

Charlton v Burton today. I think Charlton will win the play-offs. When you consider how far adrift Burton were when Gary Bowyer took over, survival is a remarkable achievement 👏

A rare Premier League game today. Southampton defended very well. Man City too slow and predictable. Rarely do you see such celebrations from the home fans after a 0-0!

I don't like criticising referees, but some of the decisions in today's play-off games have been appalling. Need to get better officials for games where so much is at stake.

This week, I've watched 2 Premier League U21/B sides outplayed by National League South opposition. I know it's only pre-season, but I wonder about the purpose of U21 football at that level, and if it's fulfilling it.

IMO India made completely the right decision to let Washington and Jadeja complete their centuries. Not sure what England were making such a fuss about.

There's a big gap in resources between the richest and the rest in many leagues. But the difference between full- and part-time teams feels particularly wide, especially when it comes to preparing for Tuesday games.
