The whipping room at Beaumaris Gaol. I find it astonishing that judicial corporal punishment was made illegal in 1948 yet the caning/ strapping/ slippering of children in our schools was legal until the late 1980s.

If you are going to accuse individuals of hate for a whole country, at least have the guts to provide your evidence. No? No guts? No evidence? Then STFU with your fake fictitious accusations and generalisations.

The Rob Burrow mile on Saturday an inclusive precursor to the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on Sunday. Alex pushed Tom for most of the race but he did get out of his wheelchair for the last 50m. He also met a MND fundraising legend.

Phil Beadle Hmm. Does this count as exemplary behaviour? Dogs sniffing each other's backsides? Mocking PA research? Sexist jokes? If HTs & senior leaders think this is acceptable role modelling or best practice from "the Behaviour Adviser" to Department for Education their moral compass may be askew?

“Britain is not America. At least not yet.” May I suggest that all those who signed off or endorsed The Sewell Report - we know who they are and they know who they are - read this? Then tell us that institutionalized racism does not exist in Britain. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

I was at this with my son. A hugely emotional night but it keeps that light shining on this terrible disease. There is hope and we must find a cure. Well done to all involved.
