All at the Abbey Theatre are heartbroken to hear of the passing of the warrior queen Sinead O’Connor. Her courage inspired a generation, and she was honoured on the stage of Ireland’s national theatre tonight. Rest in peace now beautiful Sinead.

When an entire auditorium of people are booing you for telling the truth, you find out who are your friends & standup individuals. Kris Kristofferson standing alone on stage with you as insults rained down is still a moment of tender humanity.
