One year ago, Chinese human rights lawyer #YuWensheng & his wife #XuYan were detained in Beijing as they attempted to visit the Delegation of the EU upon the delegation’s invitation. We must continue to demand their immediate release and accountability for this injustice.

#JUSTIN Joseph John, also named Wong Kin-chung , was sentenced to 60 months in jail for “incitement to secession” under HK’s Beijing-made #NSL by District Court judge Ernest Lin. John , with Portuguese nationality, is the first dual-national #NSL convict.

Appalling to see an RSF reporter visiting #HongKong to monitor the trial of #JimmyLai denied entry.

Intl legal bodies, such as IBA's Human Rights Institute & LAWASIA, should step up to support more trials in HK being monitored & reported on.
