n Ethiopia, the ‘Hear-See-Do’ Bible curriculum is equipping believers, many with little or no formal education, to share Scripture with confidence & creativity. From songs to drawings, God’s Word is now accessible where literacy was once a barrier.

Pray for Mauritius, that the church would grow in unity, boldness & vision to reach those yet to hear the gospel. With large Hindu & Muslim communities, and many nominal Christians, the need for witness is great.

In Niger, poor soil threatens crops & livelihoods. Through SIM’s Sowing Seeds of Change in the Sahel, a simple tree-restoration method is reviving the land & bringing the hope of the gospel to communities fighting to survive.

Pray for Miyagi, Yamagata & Fukushima in NE Japan. Over half our SIM Japan team serves here, yet workers are especially needed in Fukushima, where nuclear disaster stigma still lingers. Together with local churches, we’re sharing God’s love where He’s least known.

Suffering is never wasted in God’s hands. Romans 5:3–5 reminds us that trials grow perseverance, shape character, and anchor us in hope. Even in hardship, His love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
