I had a super engaging training week with this bunch of IAPETUS DTP PhD researchers by the shores of Loch Lomond earlier this month.
Coming back from a great couple of days at the Royal Entomological Society Student Forum, and so happy to meet some amazing scientists including Prof Seirian Sumner and Ashleigh Whiffin! All topped off by receiving a PhD offer this morning!!
I had a brilliant time at Royal Entomological Society #StudentForum23 in Cardiff. Meeting excellent people at different career stages and presenting my poster on my Asian Hornet research as well as some great wasp chat!
Great day of presentations & catching up with colleagues at the BES Stirling Stirling Natural Sciences #PhD symposium. Such a fascinating range of talks & posters; I'm always impressed by the diversity of #research in our department University of Stirling!
I had an amazing May getting to present about my Asian Hornet research at the IAPETUS DTP Conference in Newcastle & at the BES Stirling PhD Symposium in Stirling. It was so inspiring hearing the incredible research talks from a stellar set of PhD researchers!!!
