KS1 Eco after school club were busy litter picking after learning about recycling and how we can save our planet by doing more. We explored what recycling options we have in school and what items can go into them. Our school playground is now litter free👏🏼 🚯 #savetheplanet

Some of the school council took a trip to Hayhills farm in Silsden this morning to plant trees as part of a woodland trust project. We planted around 60 trees of Oak and Field Maple and it was a ‘treemendous’ effort from the group🌳🌲 #communitytreeplanting #schoolcouncil

Tonight we held our first friendly game at our school. Our netball team invited EastMortonCEPrimary over for some friendly matches. It was great fun and lots of great talent from both teams. Well done to all players, a fantastic way to end a sunny Monday☀️🏐

We’ve achieved RHS school gardening awards level 1,2&3! Spring is a busy time with young plants. In the poly tunnel we have English marigolds and broad beans. Sweet peas, runner beans, lettuce and radish, cauliflowers, garlic and onions. The RHS #RHSschoolgardeningaward

Our netball team had a friendly at East Moreton primary tonight. It wasn’t quite the dry match we hoped for but we drew 8-8. The game play was amazing from all of them, a vast improvement from when we first played this team back last year. Thanks East Moreton for hosting 👍🏻🏐

The KS2 Forest school after school club have been focusing on learning new skills through our Silsden 7. We’ve used ‘challenge’ to learn a new skills of chopping kindling. We’ve also used Responsibility and communication whilst using the sharp tools🪵 Bradford Forest Schools

Great first day on our year 6 residential to PGL. We’ve got stuck into lots of activities and finished with a balloon splash challenge for our evening game. We’re looking forward to our first full day tomorrow👍🏻
