First patient in for the STARSurg -EuroSurg Students CASCADE Study at our SIGMA study centre Heidelberg🎉

An incredible accomplishment! Student-led research is the way forward if we want to see more med students pursuing a career as clinician scientists. And I'm pretty sure that #paediatrics would offer a lot of fascinating research questions for similar projects! 🤔

After three years, 350 included patients and over 300 participating students we can proudly announce that the last #EXPELLIARMUS patient was randomised in October.
