Several members of Soroptimist International of Glendale joined to celebrate Glendale City Council Member and Past Mayor Paula Device as she bids goodbye to her decade long years of service on city council. Paula is a past-president of SI Glendale and we couldn't be more proud.

The SIG members enjoyed a festive April meeting yesterday with a tropical themed lunch buffet! Our speakers were from Home Again LA, one of our Service Grant recipients, and we learned about the amazing work this organization does with unhoused families in our community.

Members from SI Glendale joined the 20 other clubs in the Camino Real Region for Spring Conference this weekend. We heard from international SI leaders. Our 1st place Live Your Dream winner Stacy Coreas won the 2nd place Region award including $6,000 to support her education.

The SIG Guest Speaker Series presents "Mental Health and Creativity" with Dr. Susan Rowland on Sept. 19 from 12 to 1 p.m. via Zoom. Dr. Rowland was educated in England, and is currently a Professor at Pacifica Graduate Institute in CA. The event is is free.
