UPDATE: The e-bikes amendment sailed through with a 'YES!' Big THANKS to Sal DiDomenico for putting forth a micro-mobility amendment in the transpo bond bill, and for all those in the Senate who support defining e-bikes in MA to get more people on more bikes!

A good 1st step but we need to re-think what role do we want the Police to play? A total ground up review must happen including a complete change in the Police culture.

I’ve signed on to former President Obama’s Mayoral Pledge and “commit to review, engage, report and reform common-sense limits on police use of force.”

Please keep bikes off of the Cold Spring Park Trails. There are reports of increasing amounts of bikes on these trails, which are too narrow to safely accommodate bikes. Bikes can also damage the trails in areas that go through sensitive wetlands.

GA is the only state with two U.S. Senate races on the ballot in 2020. We must decide if we want two Senators who, when they received a private briefing on , took that information to make a profit — or if we want Senators who actually think about the people first.

I can’t wait for the next public meeting on a protected bike lane. “You self quarantined for 2 months to save lives but now you can’t sacrifice a parking spot to do the same??”

The health effects of our driving everywhere need more publicity. It’s not just obesity from lack of exercise.

testing must be made free to the public if we are going to understand the scope of this crisis.

Anything less will undermine America’s effort to protect our communities and save lives.

Reasons we should suspend mortgage payments and ban evictions:

It is very hard to self-quarantine when you don't have a home.

Would love to hear (here) from candidates on Yes for Newton's Future ... and not just Jake Auchincloss and Becky W. Grossman. Big deal for the region on matters of urgency: housing, affordable housing, transportation, sustainability.

We urge everyone who cares about safe biking in Newton to vote 'Yes' on the March 3rd referendum. Read why in our letter:

Yes! Mass. Transportation are you listening? Expand rail first and then cut the travel lanes to what we want in 2030–less driving. And “ Let’s produce an outcome that will delight, a space we will linger in and not just drive through”
