Geographer, Dr. Velvet Nelson, along with Dr. Pamela Rader (Georgian Court University) presented at the International Geographical Congress held in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Nelson is also a board member for the International Geographical Union Commission on the Geography of Tourism.

Dr. Ross Guida’s GEOG 4330 - Hydrology and Water Resources class - was out on campus this afternoon testing infiltration rates. Some places had low infiltration rates which shows soil compaction and explains why some areas flood.
