Cooking this week: Years 7 and 8 are making Deli cous cous salad, year 9s are making spaghetti bolognaise, year 10s are making bread rolls and burgers and minestrone soup and bread and year 11s are making roasted vegetable lasagne.

'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'. KS3 DT food have been busy making mini Christmas cakes and shortbread biscuits. Delicious.

It's the end of the year and finished products are going home. Storage boxes inspired by pop art in year 8 and worry monsters in year 7. Proud of our students.

Year 8 and 9 graphic students have been learning about the graphic designer 'Saul Bass'. They created their own movie posters in his style. Fantastic.

Year 7s are taking home their carefully crafted tablet holders. Learning about different types of wood, different joints and tools while having fun. Great work.

Year 11 have been working on how to present food in preparation for their practical exam. Each student was given a small chocolate cake and a digestive biscuit and set the challenge to present beautifully. Proud of our creative students.

The first rays of sun and students in year 9 Achievement used cyanotype to print on fabric. The students enjoyed watching the fabrics change colour in the sun.🌞
