I’ve carved quite a few sleeping mice but not many without fur. This is beech & approx life size

First the door amazing when you think of the tools they used, two excellent hand carved reliefs the the turned carved vase or might just be ornament

For those who haven’t seen Ian’s work befor the basic body was carved then all the diamond shaped natural woods were made & fitted to the body they were then carved to creat this superb masterpiece
