Not good enough simply not good enough. Just repeat so many tweets recently as nothing is changing. Decision making in the final 3rd when we eventually get there is awful. Something needs to change and quickly otherwise we will get left behind in the play off race BBC Sport Essex

Credit where credit is due that was a much better all round performance. Still missed some decent chances but 3-0 was the least we deserved. Aldershot were very poor but we defended well. A much needed win for Southend United FC

Odd half for Southend United FC could easily have been behind if Morecombe took their chances. But Slavi scored an excellent individual goal and Goodliffe finished well from a Boyes freekick. They look decent going forward but there are more goals if we want them
