AI -> 3D meshes might still be a ways off, we will leapfrog that step. Why gen detailed 3D, when post-processing can make everything proper? Need models for positioning + physics, but we’ll likely describe worlds with colored dummy models + prompts instead of textured models.

Data is now dramatically more important than code. How can you compete in the future if you don't have the data to train new models that result in improved user experiences? We need Open Data so we aren't all subjected to Big Co and their closed walls.

Code will be written by AI in symbols we don't understand, in about 10 years. We'll describe what we want, and it'll make alterations. It'll likely work in a way that procedures are layered, so it can make constant improvements, fallback, and recover.

The I could see the breakthrough they made with Sequence Structure Function in ESM3 being applicable to 3D models/worlds as well, perhaps accelerating our ability to generate a proper metaverse.

Over the next 10-20 years what humanity needs to be doing is consolidating all of the data we've produced into buckets of Open Data, and retrain on that data to create models that replace all of the inefficient and competing services created over the last 50 years. One can dream.

I'm slightly concerned with LLMs hallucinating NPM packages that don't exist, and attackers using this for malware. I hope npm are being extra vigilant. It's such a big problem I'd hope OpenAI would start filtering + validating packages exist before responding with them.

It's kind of interesting... 20 years ago we defined UI as schemas. That was challenging for us humans, so we switched to jQuery/React, etc. Now with AI, schemas make so much sense again. AI isn't limited by our ability/inefficiency of understanding, aligning & migrating schemas.
