Shongum Elementary is so fun we have unique insects trying to join our school! This walking stick was seen outside the Main Office! Did you know: Stick bugs can regenerate their limbs if they are broken off. They might sacrifice a limb to escape from a predator! #RandolphSchools

Thanks to our PTO, today we were treated to a fantastic assembly from David Harrell from Young Audiences Arts for Learning NJ & EPA reminding us that we are all unique and the importance of perseverance and kindness. Echo, who is certified by The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc., spends her time visiting schools, nursing homes and other places where additional support is needed. Students at Shongum Elementary had the opportunity to read to her today during her visit to the building.

Thanks to the magical fall spirit that brightened this rainy day with some fantastic decor for us! Coincidentally, our Monday Motivation message for staff today was that "somedays you just have to create your own sunshine." And this magical person did just that. #RandolphSchools
