Do not believe everything said about the Church of England. It is made up of parishes which are alive and well, led by teams of clergy and laity who strive hard to proclaim the Gospel in action and words, minister to parishioners and have excellent safeguarding praxis.

And my own personal thanks to all who made last night such a celebration of all that Queen's Foundation has been and is, and were part of our rededicating this remarkable ecumenical Foundation for a new season ahead.

It was great to be at @Trinity@Birmingham this week, for #Pray24Brum. Joining other Christians for 24 hours of prayers, celebrating our unity across different traditions. We led the first hour of the first day, bringing a mix of readings and extemporary prayers for our city.

Great book launch for Bishop of Dover last night. +Rose, who trained Queen's Foundation was inspiring as ever. Her story is a celebration of faith & courage, and of a pioneer as the first black female bishop in The Church of England. Also a reminder of how much further we have to go.
