Medgar Evers was born July 2nd, 1925 in Decatur, MS. A decorated army veteran that fought in WWII. He was shot dead in his driveway while returning home from a rally for the end of Jim Crow. His murderer bragged about the incident for almost 30 yrs before being charged.
