It was also a thrill to speak with conor grimes, one of a handful of actors used during the broadcasting ban: voices I heard every day for six years of my childhood, and whose part in this story has always filled me with wonder.

What on earth happened here? To completely scrap a production after a few performances? I’m so sorry to the cast and crew who have certainly worked so hard. I’m intrigued to know what’s happened to put all these people out of work & not carry on with a production.
