🌍💻It was pleasure to host our friends from Shipton ESU for JOTA-JOTI, not only did we network with scout from around the world but locally as well! 🌍💻

We did it! 🌍 Together with over 6,000 #Scouts from 80+ countries, we hiked more than the circumference of the Earth! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Not only did we meet our goal, but we nearly doubled it! 🤩 Thank you to everyone who joined us in taking steps toward a greener world 🌱. See you next year!

With the launch of the Royal British Legion yesterday, we began work on creating paracord poppy wreaths to lay at the Sandbach War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday🏅 Explorers were also route planning for a #ShiptonDofE Silver expedition 🥾 And YouShape teams met to plan for next term 💫

Sandbach was full this morning, as we paraded towards the war memorial in town and laid a wreath to commemorate the fallen. Important that we joined forces with 39th Sandbach Beavers, Cubs and Scouts too. #RemembranceSunday

Last week, in preparation for uni life / independent living, Explorers prepared a 'meal for a fiver'. Given a recipe card, teams had to go to the local supermarket armed with £5 to buy ingredients to cook a dish using a variety of means. #SkillsForLife

Happy New Year! 🎊 We kicked off our new term last night with Junkyard Golf ⛳. Using recyclable materials from home, Explorers created crazy golf courses! They then played the course in teams.
