.ambassadorcruiseline is dropping multi-generational sailings for 2027/28. 'This follows extensive guest feedback, which will allow us to create a calm, adult-focussed community at sea across all sailings, even during school holidays,' it says.





Four Lindblad Expeditions ships have come together for the first time to welcome two new additions to the fleet. Nat Geo Islander II and Nat Geo Endeavour II turned up for the naming in the Galapagos of 48-passenger Nat Geo Gemini and the tiny 16-guest Nat Geo Delfina.


.Oceania Cruises has taken delivery of its eighth ship, Allura. The 1,200-guest vessel, built by Fincantieri in Genoa, is the second in the Allura class after Vista, launched in May 2023. It will be followed by four Sonata-class ships in 2027, 2029, 2032 and 2035.

.Explora Journeys celebrated three milestones at the Fincantieri yard in Genoa today - the float-out of Explora III, the coin ceremony of Explora IV and the steel cutting of Explora V. Explora III is due to join the fleet next year, followed by IV and V in 2027 and VI in 2028.
