New preprint is out now! We revealed fine-tuning system of complex conformation the bacterial beta-barrel membrane protein assembly machinery. Yuki Maruno performed over 100 positions of cross-linking experiments to monitor intra-complex protein-protein proximity in vivo.

This sort of biochemical analysis is extraordinarily difficult, but when experts take it on, it is extraordinarily powerful. Great stuff from the Shiota lab Shio Lab@Univ. of Miyazaki
