Decision to pop out for a stroll after work was absolutely the right one... absolute stunner of an evening!

I'm not saying the moon is bright tonight, but our solar PV are currently generating power...

Decided to use the beautiful evening to build the new log store. Got this far to find the back slats are a) insufficient and b) the wrong length. Turns out another house in a nearby postcode had ordered a different but similar store, and the courier gave us half of theirs. 🤦‍♂️

Had this on the "to watch" list for ages - so far proving to be an absolute gem.

Finished work in the garden just in time - log store up, bench built and positioned, coal bunker emptied for scrap, just as the rain arrived. Drops like marbles! And what thunder!

Managed to step out between showers - nice to be mooooving again after a day spent indoors...
