Today I call on the Pennsylvania General Assembly to take immediate action and pass legislation to prevent gun violence. How many children must die before we take action? How many more shootings must we witness before we wake up to the reality that gun violence is a crisis?

As pediatricians, we endeavor to prevent child injury wherever possible. In addition to advocating that kids #WearAHelmet for Bike Helmet Day of Action, we recommit to establishing sound firearm policy in PA. We hope you will join us in prioritizing children's safety.
