Today…it sits in waiting, but holding onto Hope.

Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent, a gift from the great Christian tradition.

Advent counteracts the shallow sentimentality of Christmas as cheap entertainment and an American commodity.

Advent reminds us that not all is well with God’s good world. We need help.
