Overnight a sheep has escaped from a nearby field, wandered into our garden and eaten all the new Japanese herbs from our herb garden. Then pooped. True story.

Here's this morning's bounty from the Sheppard's allotment. Broad bean, mint, coriander and green leaf salad with a fresh herb oil. Griddled courgette, vine tomato amd yellow pepper on toasted sourdough. Yum!

The roadworks in #EastDean are #Southeastwater doing "emergency works" but no one is actually working there! Cars queued at a 4 way traffic light system for no reason. Getting to Sheppard's is still possible but the wait at the lights is about 4 mins. It'll be worth it though!
