Djokovic reminds me of LeBron in sports lore. He crashed the Nadal/Federer party and refused to be ignored. And ultimately, like LeBron, he'll outlast every statistic and every detractor until the only arguments against his GOAT status will be rooted in sentimentality, not fact.

Beyoncé touring this much tells me a lot about her work ethic, passion & how much it takes to thrive through music. If she tours this much, how can John in Kampala "make it"? What do musicians aspire to since there's an oversupply of talent & an unclear rshp btn talent & success?

Superman is good fun, but, like the Kaiju in the film—is greedy & ultimately collapses under its weight. Crucial conflict & tension are sacrificed for levity. It never feels like the good guys might lose, let alone grow. The bloated Kaiju of a movie doesn’t offer space for that.

Always fascinated by how powerful stories are. Stories are the language of humanity. Stories are the reason a kid like me, born and raised in Kampala, can enjoy Clipse's new album. Stories can expose the unexposed. Give context to the naive. Stories can make the blind see.

Wimbledon is a masterclass in branding and the power of consistency and manufactured exclusivity. Today’s men’s final might be the most expensive sports game of all time. And you’ll likely never get the chance to attend Wimbledon. Tickets are sold out until 2030!

My bad. I stand corrected. You can still attend Wimbledon by purchasing tickets on the secondary market, winning a lottery to buy some or pitching tent outside the venue and praying. It’s the VIP tickets that are, in a way, “sold out” until 2030.
