For the last 23 yrs end of holiday prep has meant packing a bag and ironing something respectable to wear to school. Tomorrow however, I start a secondment with Northern Alliance and so my back to work prep looks very different. Excited and nervous!

Leos-Urbel et al. (2013, p.91) found that the universal provision of free breakfasts significantly improved attendance within schools and children’s academic achievements. Day 4 of #ChallengePovertyWeek we hear from some pupils who eat a free breakfast at school everyday.
