Last week, our Year 1 class ran an assembly about 'World Refugee Day'. In preperation, the children looked at what a refugee was and why they have to leave their home. In the assembly, they retold a story about a refugee child and what they went through.

This week, Year 4 have been learning about the components of electrical circuits, such as wires, batteries and bulbs. We had lots of fun creating our own circuits and experimenting with different objects to see if they would be conductors or insulators of electricity.

We did it! The weather held and we have all enjoyed such a fantastic Sports afternoon. If you were able to join us this afternoon we want to say a big thank you!

We've had our final Reading Friends session today, and we couldn't let the day pass without acknowledging our sincere thanks to all of the volunteers who participated in these sessions over the last term. Thank you for giving up your time to offer this opportunity to our school.

Our 6 Anti-Racism Ambassador's have been working closely with Show Racism the Red Card and they planned and ran an assembly to share their key learning with the rest of our school. Thank You to the parents / family members of our ambassadors who came to the assembly.

We say goodbye to our Year 5 pupils today. They will be leaving us filled with memories to last a lifetime and creating new memories as they start their transition week at Middle School for the final week of the term. We will miss you!

As we close the doors at the end of this academic year, we send our sincere thanks to all the school community. It has been a packed year with so many memorable moments! As we wave goodbye to staff members and some of our familes, we wish you all the best for the future.
