Do any other millennials feel like the pandemic prematurely aged you? Like sure, we weren’t the coolest anymore, but now we are all 60?

I will never understand why people already in wildlife defend how the field is. They romanticize living out of their car, making less than fast food workers and working sunrise to sunset. I get that you see amazing things, but not everyone can live that lifestyle.

And honestly, I think it's really hurting the wildlife field. The field will only get the people who can fit themselves in this mold, and the diversity of both people and thought will be limited greatly. I know it's a funding issue. It doesn't mean small steps can't happen now.
