Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire has reached 33.4C - today’s highest temperature !

The most prolific meteor shower of the year beautifully captured last night at its peak. Despite clear skies, the brightness of August’s almost full waning moon meant conditions weren’t as favourable but the #Perseids are still on show until the 24th

Having gone into meltdown earlier due to the heat, I think I’m back on track now but only time will tell;) It’s hardly surprising given the temps we’ve had. Bramham recorded a high of 33.2C today - the highest August temp for N Eng since 2003. Our values were closer to 30C
