International law is not self-enforcing. Had most of these states sending lawyers to the ICJ imposed sanctions on and boycotted Israel (as per the July 2024 CIJ_ICJ opinion) perhaps we would have been in a different situation.

The U.S. is openly conditioning humanitarian aid on Hamas agreeing to its preferred ceasefire terms. This is a war crime. You cannot starve civilians to pressure an enemy. The fact that this ghoul was appointed by Biden shows the moral rot at the heart of U.S. foreign policy.
