Time dependent medical emergency this am @MUH: FAST. Therapeutic targets involve rapid recognition, diagnostics (Door to CT 20mins), acute treatments including thrombolysis, inter hospital transfer, initiating Protocol 37, potentially for endovascular thrombectomy. Well done 👏

The Perioperative department were faced with an interoperative Bronchospasm due to an evolving Anaphylaxis. Excellent management by the team, demonstrating situational awareness and utilising the QRH guidelines @MUH Well done to all involved 👏

Sepsis 6 was the focus for a multidimensional esclated time line IPE Simulation today in ICU. Well done to all involved with quick recognition of a urosepsis and obstructing renal calculi , management was quick and effective 🩺🩻💉. #sepsis6

Today in MUH we engaged in a System check simulation on the process of esclating to an obstetric emergency and time critical decisions and transfer to the theatre due to cord prolapse. Fantastic interprofessional communication, outcomes, & situational awareness. Well done 👏

The Perioperative Staff commence their day with an acute Medical Emergency: Ontable STEMI Sim. Complex, well cordinated, rapid diagnosis and treatment commenced in line with QRH Guidlines & Local STEMI protocol ⏳️💉🫀

The Perioperative Team @MUH have started the day with an Interprofessional Simulation managing an Unexpected Hypoxia due to Bronchospasm. The team worked through the differentials, eliminating mechanical failures and treating as per Guidlines

Local Anaesthetic Systemic Toxicity (LAST): a life-threatening adverse event. ICU @MUH manage the evolving complex event as it moves from neurological to cardiac effects. Well done to all involved 👏
