Despite it not always being the focus of the book. It reminds me of his work on Avengers, moving pieces around until he was able to execute big moments, which is what he does best. The fandom's disappointment doesn't take away from that. He wants to tell a story and he will do

Exactly that. That the call from above came saying that the universe won't continue doesn't take away that he told the story he wanted to tell. As far as I'm concerned, we're getting 24 issues of Hickman Spider-Man which is more than I ever thought we'd get.

Exactly. Ultimate Spider-Man is all about rising up. It's not about Peter, Spidey, his family, his marriage, his kids, or what fans want. It's a story about the hubris of those in power who cling to outdated ways of life and about those who take a step forward to dismantle them.

Chris Burnham was originally intended to be the sole artist for the 2012 "Batman Incorporated" series, but other artists had to be brought in to do a total of 21 pages across issues #6-10. For the book's absolute edition (2015), Burnham redrew all 21 pages for consistency.

You guys have no idea how excited I am for this confrontation. The Maker is the boy who raped Hisako and forced her to submit. The Maker is Mei's father, who abuses his authority and shames her for not conforming to the norm. The Maker is the cesspool of a society they live in.

He might literally be Marvels potential man, because he has an interesting premise, decent chemistry in crossover events, decently popular to the general public, and genuinely fun comics and movies. Marvel just doesn’t use this nigga enough😭
