The government should not be taking a stake in any company. This is market manipulation to the highest degree, and even further favors cronyist institutions that hamper the free market and open competition.

I hate to say it but this is also a step towards socialism. The government owning a business, partially or wholly, is never a good idea in any nation.

The U.S. government wants to take a 10% stake in Intel. This is unconstitutional. Also, Bernie Sanders supports it. Is that not a glaring clue that this is a TERRIBLE idea?!
