Just one day after two officers were laid to rest in Edmonton, yet another police officer has been tragically killed in the line of duty. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sergeant Maureen Breau and to all members of the Sûreté du Québec.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic murder of Sûreté du Québec Sgt Maureen Breau killed in the line of duty last evening. We extend our sincerest condolences to the families, friends, & colleagues of Sgt Breau & offer our support to the entire policing community.

It's encouraging to see Ministry of the Solicitor General @MPPKerzner moving a motion in #onpoli today calling on the federal government to implement bail reform immediately. Our members and our communities deserve to feel safe - the time for #bailreform is now.
