The next topic I'm tackling for the Irish Examiner is gossip in the workplace. Can it be beneficial? When does it become toxic? I'd love to hear from people in Ireland about their experience of dealing with gossip at work.

In today's Irish Examiner, I write about Laura Dowling, aka Laura Dowling. She is doing such great work to dispel the shame that still surrounds women's bodies and is bringing her unmissable show Viva La Vulva to Dublin's National Concert Hall on May 5th. irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/heal…

I also wrote about the important new book by Kate Muir 'Everything you need to know about the Pill (but were too afraid to ask). If you or any woman you know takes the pill or any other form of hormonal contraception, it's a must-read!

I also wrote about John Twohig, a fit and healthy man who had a triple heart bypass at the age of 55. He was lucky enough to make a full recovery and is now campaigning for the government to increase funding to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Midlife can be tough for women. Many have children to care for as well as aging parents and jobs where they're asked to take on more responsibility in line with their seniority. And then BAM! Along comes perimenopause...
What can women and those around them do to help?
