Placed 10th in the 300m hurdles at Regionals! It wasn’t my best race, but I’m incredibly proud of everything I’ve achieved this freshman season. Huge shoutout to our team for bringing home the 6A Regional 3 Championship! #GoSharks 🦈

If there was a regional award for MVP of the meet it would have to go to daijahmille in my opinion. Won the long jump in an impressive fashion going 20’00. Runner up in the triple jump going 41’11. Ran in the finals of both the 4x200 and 4x400 relays and DID NOT complain.

Senior Aniya Pearson made her very first regional debut and finals appearance this weekend. After facing heavy headwinds on Friday, Aniya made her way into the final. Although her performance wasn’t what she expected, she still finished this season with a PR of 14.66!!

Overall, both boys and girls teams survived and advanced!!! Boys finished in 3rd place overall, while the girls team brought home the 1st place regional champs trophy for the second year in a row in arguably one of the most difficult regions #recruitthecreek! See yall at state!
