Así lo ha revelado un estudio sobre 230 ejemplares de esa especie exótica afincados en Barcelona. Científicos alemanes acudieron durante dos años a la ciudad para grabarlos. La capital catalana tiene la mayor población mundial marcada de esa especie: 3000 cotorras
