I shipped ~10 tiny fixes for tidbit today where each change was minuscule in utility — but not in the aggregate. So much so, I can’t even imagine using yesterday’s version!

We deserve better tools aimed at collaboration instead of automation when working with models. the north star is man-computer symbiosis, not an opaque oracle.

using tidbit to help build itself is pretty fun. we have a large channel with VIP users reporting bugs, so every day I can just ask Claude what to ship.

It was weird to me that prompting models with “you are the foremost leading expert at x” actually gave you better performance for whatever task you were solving. But I’m now realizing this roughly works for people too? You can just take whatever problem you’re facing and ask

this strongly aligns with my own personal experience: *dimming* your lights at night is far more effective than just switching to warmer lights for improving natural melatonin production. Ideally your nighttime lighting is both dim AND warm. via dynomight
