UPDATE FROM SCDOT: Woods Memorial Bridge (Beaufort) shut down due to a malfunction. Bridge tech found piece of bridge, resistance barrier, damaged by car or wide load hit. It is bent in a way that allowed the bridge to swing open but not close back. Repair continues.
