Someone tried to tell me I always block their driveway…in an area I’m never in. I apologized AND swiftly barked at him for assuming it was me, told him to get back in his truck then wished him a happy holiday. Why do I feel lighter? Like the release of energy made me feel better

Shoutout to the adults saying “We should be teaching financial literacy in secondary Ed” when so many of our kids have functional literacy (they read enough to get by but struggle to write). I get it, but there needs to be a fight for kids to leave with at LEAST the fundamentals.

There is real fear, hurt, and disappointment. Oh and a LOT of rage. However, I have full faith in our ability to endure, unite, & create change. Maybe this is the jolt we needed (again) to care deeper, fight harder, and to put arms around those who have long been fighting.
