A new gym has opened at St George’s which will help patients with dizziness, balance, and movement disorders.

The neuro physiotherapy gym, located in the lower ground of Atkinson Morley Wing, also hopes to reduce the waiting times for patients needing physical rehabilitation.

Yesterday we invited Fircroft Primary to find a moment for movement in Springfield Park for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek .

The children went on a scavenger hunt using our new maps to check off the different plants, insects and activity areas that can be found in the park 🌳 🐞

Fun fact about us: Our name, St George's, originates from the parish at Hyde Park Corner where our hospital and medical school were located. The name itself comes from St George’s, Hanover Square, which is named after the Saint George.
