Thanks to the neighborhood residents, volunteers, and partners -- Temasek and Telegraph Hill Dwellers -- who joined us in planting new street trees in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. District 3 Supervisor and President of the Board of Supervisors Aaron Peskin participated.

No sooner had we planted a new sidewalk garden in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood than this butterfly came by for a visit. We love creating habitat for pollinators!

We're grateful to everyone who made this happen. Our New Roots program provides young adults with training & work experience at the Nursery in operations and maintenance, arboriculture, & urban forestry. Plants grown at the nursery will be used to continue greening San Francisco!
