Currently watching Clarkson’s Farm. We need more shows that do half as good a job at portraying the work and will it takes to build something (and in this case literally put food on the table). Massive Clarkson fan for this show alone.
It’s 9pm. Just ended a 13 hour work day. Very few steps. But I have a 30 day 10k step streak to keep up. Guess we’re going for a long walk tonight. Lucky 🐶
I put in a 311 service request for a malfunctioning traffic light. It was just taking too long to turn green, and I wasn’t even sure the city would agree it was malfunctioning. Austin city fixed it within 3 days. Blew away my expectations
5 months in to consistently training, and still injury free. Definitely a record. Slow ramp up, and weekly leg day likely huge tailwinds in the face of a major headwind (turning 30 lol). Used to get shin splints 1-2x/year in college…
I’ve run solo since college. Not sure why. But I got a desire recently to join a running group. Joined one for a 10 miler this morning in Austin. And happy to report I’ll be joining them again. Good to mix it up a bit. Plus they set up water stations throughout the course.
In my first corporate job, I sat right outside the office of one of these rare apex ladder climbing CEOs. That was Chris Rondeau at Planet Fitness, who started behind the front desk of one of the gyms. These guys are a totally different breed.
For me, it’s there’s a chance my wife can hear me recording from the other room. Do I care if millions of others hear me make a dumb TikTok? No. Her? Yes. Absolutely embarrassing for no good reason ☠️
