Nurses day celebrations have continued throughout the day. We sincerely hope all our Nurses know the difference they make and the lives they touch.

The most beautiful skies come after the worst storms 🌈

We had a VIP (very important pig) requiring admission last night. Little Evie, who is just under a week old was brought in by her mummy as she was grunting. Thankfully, the swine flu testing came back negative. Evie has now been discharged to rest at home. Well done team 👏 🐷

Ward 25 bagged the runners up title following entry into a competition for a display about Daisy & Tulip awards. These awards recognise nurses and healthcare assistants for the care they give. Nomination forms are available by our main ward doors.

A significant majority of reported penicillin allergies are incorrect and we are now part of a national initiative aimed at removing incorrect labels, which can remain on a patient's medical record for life.

The outside of PHDU has had a snazzy revamp and we love the new artwork.
