During todays 'Exploring the Decades' group, we explored the 1950's where we learned that Lego was invented during this decade! The children and young people got to build their own Lego buildings and monuments as part of the activity! Don't they look amazing! #SFH🌻

This morning, our amazing social worker did some aromatherapy with the young people! They got to make their own scents using the different oils! #SFH🌻

Happy Thursday, Today we are getting a visit from our friends at Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse theatres 🎭 We then have the option this afternoon to do art/crafts or a wellbeing walk 🤗🖼 Followed by Mutual Help Meeting were we will hand out this week's stars to each other 🌟💖 🏥 Alder Hey 💙 #SFH🌻

Happy Friday, To end our Half term week we are going on a trip! ✨️ We plan to visit the radio station of BBC Merseyside 💜 Then this afternoon we have a new group starting called the "story tellers group" 📚📖 We hope you have had a good Half term week! 🏥 Alder Hey 💙 #SFH🌻

This morning our young people got to visit the BBC Merseyside radio station! Thank you for showing them around and letting us see the studio's, they even got to practice some of their hosting skills! 🎤🎙️ 🏥 Alder Hey 💙 #SFH🌻

Today we held our Wellbeing day! We had a breakfast buffet, some relaxing messages, a picnic lunch and an optional staff check-in. ✨️ We are planning to finish the day with a wellbeing quiz 👌🏻🤓 Thank you to all the staff involved in planning this! 💛🧡 🏥 Alder Hey 💙 #SFH🌻

During yesterday's 'Exploring the decades', we learned about the 1970's. As part of the activity, we built our own airplanes. one of our young people spent time making one using playdough with its own station! #SFH🌻

This morning we had a lovely visit from Home Safari, who brought lots of animals for the young people to meet. One of the animals we got to meet was Ziggy, who is just relaxing after being given some water by one of our young people! #SFH🌻

Yesterday the young people had a visit from practitioners at imagine bamboo. Together they created these amazing pieces of art using willow for our garden area!! Don't they look amazing! #SFH🌻 🏥 Alder Hey 💙

Yesterday, our children and young people took part in a Yoga session. Thankyou to our assistant psychologist who ran the group, everyone left feeling so relaxed! #SFH🌻

As part of our explore and create group today, the young people tried the skittle experiment and were able to make some amazing designs using skittles and water! #SFH🌻
